System Requirements

SOFTWARE
Microsoft Windows Server 2012 or later, SQL Server 2005 or later, IIS7 or later.  The database and the web server can run on the same Windows Server if desired.  A server in the cloud or a virtual server can also be used.

HARDWARE
Machine sizing will depend on expected database (size and number of documents and the amount of demand on the server). A good starting point would be a 2 Processor system, with 8 GB RAM. (SQL loves to utilize RAM and system processors so it will impact performance, in this case more is better, get 8 GB+ and multiple processors if you can).

Disk Space will depend on the number and size of documents. If you have documents of an average size of 1 MB, and you want to store 100 documents in each of 100 folders you would need a minimum of 240 MB (100 X100 X 1MB). Allowing for overhead and some expansion, we would double that to 20 GB. 40 GB is the recommend minimum for Server 2012. Overall recommendation would be to provide a minimum of a 100 GB drive.

It is possible to run onHAND™ on Windows 10 but this is not the recommended system platform.
